Still Here
Hello family and friends,
Transfers came and went and I am still here in Xin Zhu but am only covering two wards and have a new companion Sister Briggs. She is from a very small town in Vegas. Sister Cisney is with her first native companion. This is lots of fun to have a native in our house. She is also only 19 years old! She is from the small island next to Taiwan. ( I forgot the name)

My companion and I cover the Zhu 1 and Xiang Shan ward while Sister Cisney and Chen cover Zhu 3. I am really sad because they are some really great investigators in Zhu 3 I will not be able to continue to work with but at least I can see them. I was able to see Lai Jie Mei yesterday at church.
This week has been so busy. I don't feel like I did that much because a lot of it was spent in meetings.

Zhang Jie Mei is doing great. She has forgotten a lot since she meet with the missionaries last year but she wants to be baptized and is willing to re learn. She has had a special experience about knowing that God exist. That is to me the real pull in why she wants this gospel in her life. She got and answer to her pray. It crazy to thing because that is how this church was re-established. It was a simple prayer with a sincere desire.

The Chen daughters are slowly progressing. They are going to pray this week about getting baptized and report back to us next week. I know that it will be a slow process.
Sister Cisney and I were sitting at English class and Emma one of the students comes up to us and is like I want to have a lesson with you. Sister Cisney and I were way happy. Emma has been coming to English class for a year and has showed no interest until now. She told us that she knows pray works. Emma is 12 and really is childlike in a lot of ways. Her parents were fighting one night. She prayed that they would stop fighting and get along. She said a week later they stopped. Sister Cisney and I were so happy that she was able to get and answer to her prayers.

On Thursday I had the opportunity to go on splits with a dying missionary. It was a really neat experience. As I sat watching all the people tell her how much she meant to them it really hit me that missionaries do make a splash. One of them was a sister that is a recent convert. She told me that this missionary was her fuyin jie mei ( her sister missionary). Tears were rolling down her face as she talked about how ever indebted to her. I realized that our investigators will forever be our responsibility.
This transfer is going to be full of miracles. I can feel it. Sister Briggs is super hard working and is helping me learn new ways of missionary work.
I love you all. The church is true!
