Hello my dear family and friends!
Well I am still here in Tao 2 but my dear sister Jasperson left me. We were both really sad to see an end to our companionship. We both cried but with change comes growth. I am grateful for the time that I was able to be with her. It is a time that I will treasure.
So my new companion is Sister Anderson (no not that sister Anderson. it is really confusing because her and my MTC companion have the same English and Chinese names.) Sister Anderson is on her 3rd transfer. She just came from Zhu 3 (yep my birth area!) She is a really great missionary. She is super bold. I will learn a lot from her this transfer about being bold.
Before transfer day Sister Jasperson and I had a cool miracle. We were tracting on New Year’s Day and we ran into this cute mom. We greeted her and both saw her eyes lit up as we talked to her. We shared with her about pray and the BOM. Shi JM is her name. She is a mother of 2 children under the age of 3. We were able to set up to meet with her on Saturday.
Saturday Sister Anderson and I meet with her and it went really well. We got to know her. We talked to her about our purpose and were able to set a baptismal date March 8.
I love you all more than words can express!
I know the church is true! I know that God hears and answers every one of our prayers. I am grateful that I can be here in Taiwan. I know that God loves us more that we know. I know that families are forever.
Love
Sister Latimer
